Tapas and Cervesas

Hola Amigos!

Sorry for all the quick unorganized posts, usually someone is waiting for the computer so I am typing fast and not really thinking!

We went on a "free" walking tour today and saw ALOT of Madrid....we are REALLLY glad we did this because we have seen tons of places to visit and learned alot of history about the city and the country....

a few fun facts....

Madrid's mascot is the Female Bear, which you see all over the city and in its embalm as well as 7 stars, which are the constellation for the female bear....

Tapas, or the Spanish version of a hors´de ordurves originated by using the plate to cover the alcohol people were drinking

The rest of the week we will be exploring the city some more...museums, the palace, disco techs, and more!

ADIOS!

Buenos Tardes!

Glad You are getting to see so much. Bonnie, who lived in Madrid says you have to see the Morrish Castle "Alhambra".

How about some pictures??

Love,
Momma W

Hi, Christina,
Is there anyway to download pix from a digital camera? You all probably don't want to spend too much time on the computer. We can wait until you all return. Have a great time with everything! Y, recuerdes, no corriendo con los toros!
Sinciramente,
Patti
