nd our hostel was right on a river! While eating dinner we were approached by a man in a tutu and wings with spray painted hair that we later found to be a part of a bachelor party and had an interesting encounter with him and his friends....haha After we got back to our hostel we discovered our flight to Madrid was MUCH earlier than we thought.....so we woke up at 5am this morning and discovered the buses weren't running for another 1HR so we would definitely miss our flight! we proceeded to walk 3km to the train station all with 30lb packs on our back! the walk turned into a mild sprint and we made it to the station just in time! thennnn we eventually arrived at the airport after waiting FOREVER for a bus to wait in more lines and running to our gate to catch the flight....now in Madrid, the weather is HOT and we need to explore the city to find some activities...today is Sam´s b day so we will be celebrating tonight!

IT SEEMS LIKE YOU ARE HAVING AN EXCITING AND EVENTFUL TRIP THUS FAR. LAST NIGHT WE WERE @ A DINNER PARTY AND THERE WERE PEOPLE THERE FROM SPAIN AND THEY LIVE IN MADRID. I ASKED THEM ABOUT THE BEST PLACES TO VISIT AND THEY ALL AGREED ON THE DOWNTOWN AREA (NO SPECIFICS). ENJOY THE OLIVES AND THE BARNACLES!

I want to hear more about the "encounter" with the bachelor party...
haha well the bachelor was wearing white shorts and shirt with angel wings, and spray painted hair and makeup on all while his friends and him were sipping on Jack Daniels in the middle of town. He came up to us and said part of his scavenger hunt was to have six girls kiss him somewhere with lipstick....haha so we have him some kisses on the cheek and then they were our new best friends...we watched him do some other silly stunts with a bachelorette party that came through the park as well he ended up with a cast on his right arm ...neadless to say we were laughing really hard the entire time, and left with an invitation to go to dinner with all of them that we "forgot" to go too...haha
